Hey Reader,
I’m writing this to you before I hit full vacation mode — because by the time you read it, I’ll be lakeside with my family, unplugged and making s’mores like it’s my job.
It’s our first family vacation in years. Years. Which, let’s be honest, is way too long. Life has been busy and weird and hard, and getting away just kept slipping through the cracks. But not this time. I finally made good on the thing I put on my vision board back in January: Prioritize leisure. Prioritize us.
So I booked a quirky cabin with a rock climbing wall (to the second-floor patio, obviously), a stash of board games, and a fire pit that’s basically begging for sticky marshmallows and star-gazing. It’s not far from home, but it’s far enough — far enough to shift us out of routine and into something that feels like magic.
Because here’s the truth: the kind of rest and joy that fills your soul? It doesn’t just happen. You have to make space for it. And this week, I finally did.
Weekly Tarot Card.
The Magician shows up when it’s time to use what you’ve got to create what you want. It’s the card of aligned action — not hustling harder, but realizing that you already have the tools. The skills. The energy. The desire.
This card is a reminder that you don’t have to wait for permission or perfect timing. You just need to start.
It also invites us to reconnect with our agency. Where can you be the one who makes the move? Books the thing? Starts the process? Sets it in motion?
This week, The Magician says: you’ve got the spark. Now light the fire.
A Powerful Question.
What magic have I been waiting for… that I could actually create?
See ya next time.
Take the leap. Make the plan. Roast the damn marshmallow.
You’ve got the tools already.
Cheers,
