Woods over WiFi.

Hey Reader,

I’m back from a few days in the woods with my family, staying in a badass cabin with rock walls, board games, and just enough nature to make my soul take a deeeeeeep breath.

I even bought a sticker for my emotional support water bottle that says “Woods over WiFi.” That was the vibe all weekend — even though, yes, there was WiFi (teenagers NEED their Instagram). We came home with a couple of bonus days before diving back into work and back to school prep, which gave us one more breath before life starts life-ing again.

Somewhere between the campfire and the stars, I remembered why I started The GYST in the first place: to help people get their shit together. And honestly? Most of the time, I’m helping myself too. Real life is loud. Sometimes you need to get out in the middle of nowhere to hear yourself think — even if “nowhere” still involves kids climbing a rock wall behind you.

And here’s the thing: when I finally shut up long enough to listen to myself, I realized I needed to start saying no to more crap and yes to what actually matters. That decision — plus the perfect s’more — brought me the kind of peace I want to carry into the rest of the year.

Weekly Tarot Card.

The Six of Wands is basically the “Hell yes, you did it!” card. It’s not about waiting until the big win — it’s about high-fiving yourself for every damn step you’ve taken. Even the messy, awkward ones.

Here’s your reminder: you don’t build confidence by sitting around waiting to feel ready. You build it by doing the thing — even when you’re scared, even when it’s imperfect, even when you think you might fall on your face. The celebration comes from showing up.

So yeah, this is me telling you to stop downplaying your wins and start acting like you’ve earned your spot here — because you have. And if you don’t know where to start? Well…

Because the Six of Wands doesn’t hand you a crown for sitting on the sidelines. It gives you one for getting out there and doing the thing.

A Powerful Question.

How much of my stress is because I won’t let myself sit the fuck down and think?

See ya next time.

Keep going, but sit the fuck down sometimes.

Yours in chaos and clarity,

Ways to get your shit together.
